The Veterans Service Commission is a service body mandated by State Statute to exist in each Wisconsin County. The purpose of the Commission is to provide emergency assistance to needy veterans and to the family members of deceased veterans who reside in Rock County. The Veterans Service Commission is comprised of 3 veterans who are residents of Rock County and serve 3-year terms. Veterans must meet criteria in State Statutes to serve as commissioners.
