Home MenuVaccines for Children Program
We provide free or low cost vaccine for children through the Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program in partnership with Wisconsin DHS and CDC. The VFC Program is a federally funded program that helps increase access to vaccines by providing free or low cost vaccines to eligible children. Common VFC providers include doctor's offices, pharmacies, and public health departments.
Children are eligible for the VFC program if they:
- Are 18 years and younger
- Are enrolled or eligible for Medicaid
- Are American Indian or Alaska Native, as defined by the Indian Health Care Improvement Act
- Don't have health insurance
- Have health insurance that doesn't pay for all vaccines
If your child does not meet VFC Program eligibility, please contact your doctor or local pharmacy to schedule an appointment.
The vaccines we provide through the VFC Program are recommended by Wisconsin DHS and the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices. Some of the vaccines we provide through the VFC Program include:
- Hepatitis A
- Influenza
- Measles
- Polio
- Tetanus
See a full list of available VFC vaccines here. Each VFC provider's available vaccines may vary.
