WHAT ARE JAIL RE-ENTRY AND TREATMENT SERVICES?

The Jail Re-Entry and Treatment Services is a program designed to increase public safety by facilitating collaboration among the criminal justice, behavioral health and substance treatment systems to increase access to mental health and other treatment services for those individuals with mental illness or co-occurring behavioral health and substance use disorders who are being released from jail into the community. Referrals for the Jail Re-Entry program come primarily from jail staff, inmate self-referrals and crisis services. 

WHAT TREATMENT AND SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE?

Case management services may include assisting the individual with:

  • Accessing economic support programs
  • Medical assistance programs
  • Housing needs
  • Psychiatric stabilization services
  • Linkage to long-term providers
  • Medication monitoring 

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

Anyone currently incarcerated at the Rock County Jail who reports a behavioral health concern is eligible to receive services. 

HOW DO CLIENTS PAY FOR SERVICES?

This service is free of charge.
