WHAT TREATMENT AND SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE?

- Development of a Driver Safety Plan
- Referral to either an educational program or an alcohol/drug treatment program, depending on the assessment results
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Rock County residents are referred to the Intoxicated Driver Program after being charged with an Operating While Intoxicated (OWI). Clients may appear for an IDP assessment on a voluntary basis prior to being convicted, after being ordered by the court after their OWI conviction, or by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
HOW DO CLIENTS PAY FOR SERVICES?
There is an assessment fee of $300 for which the client is responsible. Additional alcohol or drug treatment may be covered by your health insurance. Educational programs are not covered by your health insurance.
